Short version: we collect what we need to run the directory — your account details, what you list, and basic usage data. We don't sell your personal information.

1. Who we are

Dev App Deals is operated by DevNasCode, a sole proprietorship based in California, United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect through devappdeals.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide:

• Account information — your email address, username, and any optional profile details such as a bio or social links.
• Listing content — app titles, descriptions, screenshots, links, tags, and any deals you submit.
• Communications — messages you send us, and (if you opt in) your newsletter subscription.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — pages viewed, listings clicked, and aggregate impression and click counts used to power listing analytics.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and similar information sent by your device, used for security and basic analytics.

3. How we use your information

• To operate the Service — create your account, publish and moderate listings, and display analytics;
• To review submissions and enforce our Terms and content standards;
• To communicate with you about your account, listings, and (with consent) our newsletter;
• To measure and improve the Service;
• To protect the security and integrity of the Service and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies

We use a first-party session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the authenticated parts of the Service (your dashboard and, for administrators, the admin panel). Because it is essential to the Service, it cannot be disabled while you are logged in. The public pages of the Service do not require cookies to browse. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Public content. Information you include in a published listing — including your username, app details, and screenshots — is public by design and visible to anyone.
• Service providers. We rely on vendors such as our web host to run the Service. They process data on our behalf under appropriate obligations.
• Payment processing. If and when you purchase a paid upgrade, payment is handled by a third-party processor (such as Stripe). We do not store your full card details; the processor's own privacy policy governs that data.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Dev App Deals, our users, or the public.
• Business transfer. If the Service is acquired or merged, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

You can access and update most of your information from your dashboard, and you can request deletion of your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email hello@devappdeals.com.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
